Sprout

I built out this React Native app from scratch, including the design and functionality. The purpose of the of app is to track flair-ups. Whether its allergies, Eczema, or any other condition, the app allows users to track their symptoms and triggers. The app has a built in barcode scanner to easily upload ingredient lists, a weather plug-in to track environmental factors and the ability to export all of the data into easy to read reports that can be shared with doctors.

Intel City on the Cloud

I worked as part of a team to create this interactive experience which doubles as a Progressive Web App (PWA). I created functionality that allowed external links to show up as a QR code in the PWA and an external link when viewed in a browser.

Built as an experimental project to get more familiar with api calls and the new features of Next 14. This website utilized advanced search functionality as well as filtering capabilities.

Green Grocer

Green Grocer is a responsive dynamic e-commerce grocery store branded and built from scratch. This included creating the logo and choosing all colours, fonts and assets. I also designed the layout and functionality which pulled products from a database.

Flick

Flick is a responsive dynamic movie database branded and built from scratch. This included creating the logo and choosing all colours, fonts and assets. All movie data is pulled from a database using PHP. This project was built as a demo for a client and is meant to be a template for a movie database such as IMDB.

I love creating. Whether it's code at work or crafts in my own time. That maker's instinct is what pulls me toward the front end.

I'm a front-end developer focused on building interfaces that are fast, responsive and genuinely pleasant to use. My day-to-day lives in React, TypeScript, Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and I care as much about how something feels as how it works.

I've worked closely with clients and teams to ship e-commerce storefronts, content-driven sites and web apps, translating real problems into clean, maintainable interfaces.
